PURPOSE

Through its unique program, Veritas Academy seeks to accomplish the following distinct goal:

"Graduate engaged students who are thoroughly equipped for college success and high level leadership."

To achieve this goal, Veritas is committed to the following objectives:

  1. Offer a Bible based faith integrated curriculum
  2. Daily face-to-face teacher-led classroom experience
  3. Small classroom sizes (average of 15 students per class)
  4. Pedagogy-driven technology integration
  5. Time-tested classical methodology and content

EXTENDED CARE AND CLUBS

Extended Care is available in an engaging environment. Drop your kid off as early as 7:00am and pick him/her up as late as 6:00pm.

Extended care activities includes:

  • Healthy snack
  • Computers
  • Homework support
  • Rest area for peace and quiet
  • Light dinner option

Enrichment Clubs are also available and encouraged. Clubs take place after regular class hours. Students may register in the fall and in the spring. Offerings include:

  • Book Club
  • Chess Club
  • Inventors Club
  • History Club
  • Toast Masters/Debate Club

  • Digital Native: A person born during or after the general introduction of digital technology and through interacting with digital technology from an early age, has a greater understanding of its concepts.

    Digital Scholar: A person who employs digital, networked, and open approaches to demonstrate specialism in a defined field.

    Digital Citizen: A person who responsibly utilizes information technology in order to engage in society.

    A faith-based foundation instilling the following virtues through a meaningful Chapel program:
    G    race, Excellence, Character, Knowledge, Ownership
    As a vital part of Veritas Academy’s education, Veritas Chapel’s vision is to create disciples who are:
    (a) Intellectually stimulated (Daniel 1:17), (b) Grounded in the word of God (Colossians 2:7) and
    (c) Committed to the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20)

  • Wellness Program:



    In collaboration with the YMCA, we will offer a comprehensive fitness program that will include archery, swimming, gym, and many other choices. In addition, before and after school programming will be available.
    A daily hot lunch will also be provided. Lancer Hospitality will deliver high quality, nutritious and satisfying
    meals that provide the sustenance students need to return to class energized and ready to learn.
